Arsenal were leading 4-0 from their first leg away in Belgium and comfortably completed the job with a 3-1 home win.

England forward Alessia Russo fired the Gunners ahead on the night with a left-footed shot from just inside the area in the 23rd minute. It only took Sara Pusztai six minutes to scramble home a memorable leveller for Leuven.

But Mariona Caldentey converted a 65th-minute penalty for Arsenal and Russo finished off a flowing move late on to complete a resounding 7-1 aggregate victory. Naomie Feller was on song as Real Madrid saw off Paris FC 2-0 in the Spanish capital, sealing a 5-2 aggregate win.

The Parisians were trailing 3-2 from the first leg at home, and made their task more difficult as defender Thea Greboval was shown a straight red card with less than five minutes on the clock. She pulled back Feller, who was running in on goal with Paris goalkeeper Mylene Chavas still on her line.

Chavas saved a penalty from Caroline Weir nine minutes before half-time to keep Paris FC in the tie. But she was well beaten by Feller's superb volley in the 54th minute, before visiting defender Melween N'Dongala scored an own goal midway through the second period. "We fought well and we will learn, and we will grow," Chavas said.
