Arsenal's 19-year-old midfielder Marcelo Flores is set to join Mexican side Tigres. Both the English club and the Liga MX club have reached an agreement and it only needs to be made official.

Flores is ready to travel to pass his medical with Siboldi's team and will sign a four-year contract.

The Mexican starlet failed to make his breakthrough in Arsenal's youth academy and never made his first-team debut, so he will be looking for a more important role outside of European football.

Last season the Gunners player played on loan at Oviedo, where he only made 15 appearances, eight as a starter. This season he has played four games for Arsenal U-21, none as a starter.
