The Red Devils will play in the Champions League next season after managing to reach third place in the Premier League. They finished third on 75 points.

As a result, they are working to improve their squad in the summer transfer window and these are their main targets.

Manchester United's summer wishlist

Mason Mount

The Red Devils have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign Mason Mount in this transfer window. They have been trying to sign him by all means.

Erik ten Hag's side submitted three bids and all of them were rejected but they tabled an improved fourth bid of 60 million pounds - an initial fee of £55 million plus £5 million in add-ons - on Thursday and the Blues have finally accepted their new offer.

The English midfielder will likely become one of the biggest earners at Manchester United as he could earn up to £250,000-a-week at Old Trafford.

Mount had come up through the Blues' academy, making 195 appearances for the senior team and he leaves his boyhood side with a Champions League title, UEFA Super Cup and a Club World Cup.

Victor Osimhen

United are still looking for a world-class striker to bolster their attack next season. They want to sign a forward with the same profile as Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Al Nassr.

Their main target was Harry Kane but Tottenham Hotspur were making it very difficult for England's top goalscorer to join Old Trafford.

As a result, they are keeping an eye on Victor Osimhen's situation. The Nigerian scored 31 goals and provided four assists in 29 appearances for Napoli in the 2022/23 season.

It is not yet known if the English club are in negotiations with the Serie A side but Napoli are asking between 150 and 180 million euros for his transfer.

Justin Bijlow

David de Gea has left Manchester United as a free agent after failing to agree a contract extension. The Spaniard had been playing for the Red Devils for 12 years but will now have to find a new destination.

Erik ten Hag's side were considering signing Andre Onana, who plays for Inter, to replace him but they will be unable to sign the 27-year-old due to Financial Fair Play problems.

The Manchester outfit are reportedly now looking at Justin Bijlow as a cheaper replacement to solve the issue. The Dutch goalkeeper conceded 33 goals in 34 appearances for Feyenoord last season.
