Thirty-two players based in England's top flight are set to take part, reinforcing the league's status as a major contributor to African international football during the 2025/26 campaign.

Senegal arrive with the largest Premier League contingent. Their squad includes West Ham defender El Hadji Malik Diouf, Sunderland's Habib Diarra, Everton duo Idrissa Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye, Tottenham midfielder Pape Sarr and Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr, giving them six players drawn from English clubs.

A second tier of nations follows closely behind. Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast and Nigeria each select four Premier League footballers.

DR Congo feature Arthur Masuaku and Noah Sadiki from Sunderland, Burnley's Axel Tuanzebe and West Ham's Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Ivory Coast call on Wolves defender Emmanuel Agbadou, Manchester United winger Amad Diallo and Nottingham Forest pair Willy Boly and Ibrahim Sangare.

Nigeria lean heavily on Fulham, with Calvin Bassey, Samuel Chukwueze and Alex Iwobi all included, alongside Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka.

Egypt combine experience and star quality through Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah and Manchester City attacker Omar Marmoush.

Cameroon are represented by Manchester United's Bryan Mbeumo and Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, while Burkina Faso include Brentford's Dango Ouattara and Sunderland winger Bertrand Traore.

As hosts, Morocco field two Premier League players in Manchester United full-back Noussair Mazraoui and Sunderland prospect Chemsidine Talbi.

Algeria's involvement comes via Manchester City defender Rayan Ait-Nouri, while Mali select Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma as their sole representative. Sunderland stand out among clubs, supplying players to several national teams, including Senegal, DR Congo and Mozambique through Reinildo Mandava.

Burnley contribute South Africa striker Lyle Foster and Tunisia midfielder Hannibal Mejbri, while Wolves winger Tawanda Chirewa earns a call-up with Zimbabwe.

Several qualified sides, such as Angola, Benin, Botswana, Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia, do not currently draw on Premier League talent, and Sudan are yet to confirm their squad.

With AFCON once again scheduled during the domestic season, Premier League managers are bracing themselves for a busy winter period, as a significant group of their players head to Morocco aiming for continental success.
